Roman Reigns: Goldberg’s Strange Suggestion for who Should Beat WWE Megastar! No Way OMG
Goldberg has offered a rather strange pick for who should beat Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE right now, and Goldberg has revealed who he thinks should beat him.
Ever since he became Universal Champion in August 2020, fans have been talking about who should be the man to end Roman’s historic run. Goldberg has now given his thoughts on the matter, and his answer will likely come as surprising reading to many.
Who will beat Roman Reigns?
WWE has a real opportunity to make a true megastar with whoever beats Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Many fans are of the belief that WWE should go with a younger star, like Gunther or Austin Theory, allowing for them to be turned into a main eventer.
However, speaking on The Bump this week, Goldberg has explained that he thinks the man to beat Roman should be Brock Lesnar, via Wrestle Talk.
I think Brock most definitely has the opportunity to do it when he comes back. He’s very dominant, we’ve seen that over the past year or longer. It’s gonna take that special person to come out and dethrone him. I think there are a couple people that are more than capable of doing it.
While Goldberg doesn’t think that Brock is the only person who could beat Roman, ‘The Beast’ was the only person that he named as a potential contender. The argument many fans will have is that Brock is already one of WWE’s biggest stars, not just today but in history, so he definitely doesn’t need the big win to make him into a megastar.
Is Goldberg going to return to WWE?
Reports from Ringside News have stated that, despite rumours to the contrary, WWE has no intention of bringing Goldberg back for Crown Jewel on November 5. In fact, Goldberg confirmed during his appearance on The Bump yesterday that he has no more matches left on his WWE contract.
However, as you can see from the quote below, the former Universal Champion seems keen on stepping into the ring again, possibly for another feud with Roman Reigns. Well, I don’t have any matches left on my contract, but I know one way we could take care of him. I do need to give him a little receipt for that little choke-out in Saudi Arabia.
Interestingly enough, reports from Cultaholic stated that WWE considered having Goldberg face Roman at SummerSlam on July 30, but only if Brock didn’t appear at the show.
