Neymar Joins Memphis Depay on Instagram Live & Speaks Perfect English! Watch Amazing Video.

Last night, Neymar and Memphis Depay had an Instagram Live conversation in which they spoke in perfect English. The Brazilian star surprised many of the viewers as he is not known for speaking the language fluently, having never played in the Premier League.

The conversation took place after Depay had become the latest high-profile athlete to join the Puma family, following in Neymar’s footsteps, who signed with the German sportswear brand two years ago.

During the conversation, Neymar expressed his admiration for Puma’s “difference in style” and congratulated Depay on becoming a Puma athlete, telling him to “take care” and that he was “very happy for him”.

The two also shared a moment of friendship as Neymar said “love you bro” and mentioned they would “link up” soon.

Neymar had been sponsored by Nike for 15 years before signing with Puma. Although his English was not on the same level as his teammate Kylian Mbappe, who impressed fans with his “unreal perfect English” during an interview after a PSG win in April 2021, Neymar’s fluency was still a surprise to many.

Over 200,000 viewers tuned in to the conversation between Neymar and Depay. Depay, who had recently returned from an injury, had been spotted wearing Puma boots and was announced as the latest athlete to join Puma.

The German sportswear brand has made significant moves in recent years, signing high-profile athletes such as Neymar and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
