Lord of the rings! Jason Statham, 55, shows off his RIPPED physique as he reveals he’s achieved his buff body through gymnastic training

British action star Jason Statham, known for thrilling his legion of female fans with his shirtless appearances on screen, has once again stunned audiences with his incredibly ripped physique in a black and white spread for Men’s Health Australia. The 55-year-old actor showcases his impressive muscles in a series of shirtless snapshots.

In one image, Jason is seen flexing his bulging biceps while sporting gym tights. Another photo highlights his ripped physique as he effortlessly lifts two kettlebells. The English heartthrob also demonstrates his acrobatic skills in another snap, where he is captured doing a handstand.

During the interview, Jason reveals the secrets behind his fitness regimen. Contrary to what one might expect from an A-list Hollywood star, he prefers a more do-it-yourself approach and refuses to work with a personal trainer. Recently, while filming in New Zealand, he constructed his own workout area in the backyard of the house he was renting, complete with built-in gymnastic rings.

“I had a framework put together in the backyard, this sort of bar workout area where I could mount some gymnastic rings,” explains the Fast & Furious star to the magazine. He goes on to reveal that he has been incorporating ring training into his workouts for the past 12 months.

In addition to ring training, Jason incorporates Olympic lifts with his gymnastic training. The black and white shoot also showcases him flexing his bulging biceps while lifting heavy weights such as kettlebells.

Apart from his fitness routine, Jason is currently expecting his first child with his fiancée, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a former Victoria’s Secret Angel. The couple, who has been together for six years, announced their engagement when Rosie showed off her diamond engagement ring on the red carpet at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
