Jason Statham looks animated as he jumps into a flashy sports car while filming Fast & Furious spin-off in Covent Garden
Jason Statham, the Hollywood star known for his action-packed roles, was spotted looking as handsome as ever while filming a spin-off to the Fast and Furious franchise in Covent Garden, London. The 55-year-old actor resumed his role as Deckard Shaw, wearing a navy velvet tuxedo, as he filmed scenes for the highly anticipated film that also stars Dwayne Johnson.
Teaming his jacket with a dark-colored shirt and dress pants, Jason completed his stylish look with a pair of smart patent brogues by George Cleverley. He appeared to be taking direction from crew members before hopping into a sleek McLaren sports car on the set. The upcoming film will explore the relationship between Jason’s character Deckard and Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson, following the last film in the series, “The Fate of the Furious” or “Fast 8.”
The spin-off movie, titled “Hobbs and Shaw,” is set to hit theaters in July of next year. The demand for the film has even pushed back the release date of the ninth installment of the Fast and Furious series. Fans are eagerly anticipating the on-screen chemistry between Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson as they team up for this action-packed adventure.
In his personal life, Jason welcomed his son Jack with his fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whitely in June 2017, a year after announcing their engagement. The couple, who have been together for nearly a decade since 2010, reportedly plans to tie the knot later this year. Rosie has expressed that Jason is the greatest influence in her life, and according to the Mail On Sunday, the couple is likely to send out wedding invitations in the next few weeks. They had initially planned to get married last year but postponed their plans due to Rosie’s pregnancy.
With his ongoing success in the film industry and personal milestones, Jason Statham continues to captivate audiences with his charismatic performances and rugged charm both on and off the screen.
