Jason Statham films a dramatic siege on the streets of London with actors dressed in camouflage FBI uniforms as he continues work on The Beekeeper
On Thursday, Jason Statham, the renowned actor, was spotted on the streets of London while continuing the filming of his new movie, “The Beekeeper.” The 55-year-old actor was dressed by the wardrobe team in a blue and black flannel shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans. He was surrounded by fellow actors portraying members of the FBI, the doмestic intelligence and security service of the United States. The scene took place on Jerмyn Street in the UK capital, which was being transformed to resemble Boston for the film.
To complete his look, Jason wore a blue hoodie and a matching baseball cap as he engaged in conversations with the officials on set. “The Beekeeper” stars Jason Statham and Josh Hutcherson from “The Hunger Games” and tells the story of a man seeking vengeance after discovering he was a former agent of a powerful and covert organization called the Beekeepers.
While the actors portraying FBI agents were dressed in camouflage gear and seen communicating through walkie-talkies, many wearing hard hats and face coverings, Jason opted for a much more casual attire. The contrast in costumes highlighted the distinction between his character and the law enforcement team.
The scene involved action sequences, with the FBI agents seen jumping out of a van with guns. A police car labeled “Boston Police” was parked on the street, contributing to the authentic setting. The production team also added additional elements to enhance the realism, such as a London bus passing by in the background. An extra dressed as a homeless person held up a crutch as if it were a gun, adding intrigue to the scene.
Earlier, Jason was seen filming “The Beekeeper” for the first time in Kent, where a dramatic chase scene took place. The crew closed the Kingsferry Bridge between Sheppey and SittingƄourne for 48 hours to capture shots, including a moment where a car hurtles towards the Swale River, launching a dummy into the air.
It’s worth noting that Jason’s fiancée, Rosie, expressed her desire to return to her home county of Deʋon after residing in the celebrity enclave of MaliƄu, California for several years. Rosie, who was born in Plyмouth and later moved to Taʋistock in Deʋon, considers the countryside and her home county to hold a special place in her heart. She appreciates the fresh country air, the friendly people, and the tranquility of rural life, which she finds relaxing and lovely.
As the cast and crew filmed the scenes in London, the St Jaмes area was transformed to resemble a building in Boston, further immersing the audience in the film’s setting.
