Neymar’s contract with PSG runs until 2025, with an option to extend it to 2027. Although the player wants to stay, PSG reportedly wants to part with him sooner rather than later. Sheikh Jassem Bin Hamad Al Thani, a member of Qatar’s ruling royal family, is a front-runner in the race to take over at Old Trafford.

The Glazers, who currently own Manchester United, are holding out for a £6 billion fee, but Al Thani’s bid is reportedly worth £5 billion, with promises to wipe the club’s debt and fund upgrades for both Old Trafford and Carrington.

The Glazers have refused to accept any offer so far and are set to sanction a third round of bidding. Interested parties have been informed that they have until the end of the month to submit revised offers.
